Cover Letter to be submitted with the application.

Submit one to two page cover letter that clearly expresses your commitment to meet the requirements of the Peak Scholar award. Answer the following questions in you letter.

1. Why are you applying for the Peak Scholar Award?

2. While pursuing the requirements of the award, how will Peak to Peak benefit from your efforts?

3. If you are a recipient of the award, how will you exemplify the kind of student deserving of the award?

4. How have you pursued excellence outside of the classroom?

(leadership, community service, visual/performing arts, athletics or technology)

Applications received by October 1 of the student’s senior year will be reviewed for inclusion on early college applications. The final due date is April 1 of the student’s senior year for recognition at graduation.

As an applicant for the Peak Scholar Award, I commit to completing steps necessary.

I understand that if I transfer form Peak to Peak, fail to meet all requirements, or if any documentation is missing or inaccurate, this application will become invalid. I further understand that if at any time I wish to discontinue participation in the program, I can request in writing that my application be removed. I understand that the submission of the application activates my Peak Scholar Award file.
