Welcome To My Web Page. I Am Ms. Owen and I teach Elementary Art Classes, Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Click on the links below for curriculum information per grade.

CHECK OUT THE ALL-KINDERGARTNERS PAINTINGS ON THE BOUARD IN THE SOUTH HALLWAY. We read Camembert by Nancy de Angelis about a mouse who hleps a painter in the south of France.

For new Peak to Peak parents, please note that I keep all the students’ artwork until the end of the school year. I do this so I can have a greater selection of work to send out to local art shows and our own show in the spring. I also have a KidzArt fundraiser for the elementary art department at that time.

Class updates: K classes are working on Native American decorative shields. First graders are beginning still lifes. Second graders are working on being illustrators. Third grade will be starting quilting. Fourth graders are working on Americana, and fifth graders are working on their parodies of Mona Lisa.
