Question:  What do these ads showcase about how society as a whole is changing during the period following the Civil War into the 1900s?  To what extent are the goals of the ads the same through time vs. change based on the time period?    Explain.  How does industrialization promote social change (for immigrant groups? For mass society? For the west? East? South?)
