There is no homework in art Fall 2007.



 



 



The students have begun a Drawing unit.



First they were given a sketchbook and were assigned a shelf to keep all their work.



 



Students will learn gesture drawing, contour and blind contour drawing and shading 



techniques and drawing pictures upside down.



 



First project was to draw three objects using shade/shadow value drawing and an 



interesting perspective



 



 



 



 



 



The art dept could use old hairdryers, blenders, thin cardboard boxes (like cereal)



 or all size plastic containers with lids. 



 



Ms. Saporito is coordinating a student trip to Italy this summer



for middle and high school aged children (parents can come too)
