Peak to Peak uses qualified individuals to substitute in classrooms. Substituting is a rewarding and flexible job that is critical to the continuity of student learning. Substitute teachers are valued members of the school.  

Peak to Peak hires both long-term substitutes and daily substitutes.  Substitute teachers are paid at the pay rate as follows:

Long-term:  $175 per day

Daily:  $20.00 per hour (for a 7-hour day as BVSD subs work 8-hour days)

Long-term substitute positions are posted on the Current Openings page. Interested candidates should follow the instructions for the application provided with each posting. 

Daily substitutes must have a Bachelor's degree. Daily substitutes are paid an hourly rate at Peak to Peak. If you are interested in learning more, please email Allie Cross.
