Recap of the April 1st Board of Directors meeting:

  1. The Board reviewed the draft budget for the 26-27 fiscal year, which includes conservative planning due to impacts at the State and Federal levels. Additionally, the school leadership is balancing the future needs of the proposed school expansion, satisfying bond covenants, and reducing the pay gap with the district for teachers and staff while still enabling Peak to Peak to differentiate itself as a high-achieving school.

  2. A first review of student fees for the upcoming school year reveals incremental growth largely due to external costs rising and covering internal costs. While Peak to Peak fees are in line with the school district and, in many cases, below what families pay at other district schools, the Board and school leadership are diligently reviewing all fees to ensure the best value for our community.

  3. We are grateful for our engaged community (staff, parents, guardians, and students) and especially want to thank this community for the countless hours that were spent to ensure the success of the Annual Gala and Peak Week. It is the engagement of each of these groups that makes Peak to Peak the most sought-after school in BVSD!

The next Board of Directors meeting will be on Wednesday, April 15th, at 9:00 AM.
