Reminder: Join the P2P Equity Committee

Equity and inclusion are central to our mission and vision as a K-12 charter school. At Peak to Peak, we help every student achieve their academic potential by creating an environment where each student is known, respected, and valued, while preparing them to engage in a diverse and interdependent world. If this work speaks to you, we hope you will consider serving on the Peak to Peak Equity Committee. 

This Board-established committee supports Peak to Peak’s Equity and Inclusion Statement by examining schoolwide practices, recommending opportunities for improvement, and supporting progress toward strategic priorities. The committee typically meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 8-9:30 am, with additional subgroup opportunities as needed.

Committee members should bring:

• A strong interest in educational equity and a commitment to our school’s Equity and Inclusion Statement.
• A willingness to engage in institutional change that advances equity and inclusion.
• Knowledge, perspectives, and lived experiences that reflect the diversity of our community.
• A commitment to participating regularly in meetings and committee projects (as your schedule allows)

This year, the committee plans to develop a series of parent/guardian workshops designed to strengthen connection within our community and advance our school’s mission. Learn more about the Equity Committee Process & Procedures.
