Reminder: Summer Reading Text Request Form for 5th-11th Grade Students

Summer reading information for all grades will be shared with families in April. To ensure every student has access to required texts before summer break, families who anticipate financial barriers to obtaining books are invited to complete the Summer Reading Request Form by Friday, March 13th. You do not need to provide proof of income/FRL status, or to know your student's class schedule, to request assistance.

Students whose families submit the form will be able to check out their summer reading books from the library in mid-May. Books must be returned during the first week of September. Please note that these are library copies and may not be written in; students may use sticky notes for annotations as needed.

This process does not apply to AP textbooks. Students who need assistance accessing AP materials should contact their AP teacher or our teacher librarian, Carla Flanhofer (carla.flanhofer@bvsd.org), directly.
