What: Field trip to Lafayette Library to learn about the resources available to students

More info: As part of Peak to Peak’s library mission, we want students to feel confident using not only our school library resources, but also public and collegiate library resources. Each year, all 6th grade students visit the Lafayette Library to learn about the resources available to them as BVSD students, both in person and online. Students may also choose to get a Lafayette Library card, which provides access to resources such as eBooks and audiobooks. A parent/guardian must complete the hard-copy application, which will be provided in class a few weeks before the trip. No library card is needed to access many online resources, including databases and free online tutoring. Students can access these through the Lafayette Library icon in the BVSD Single Sign-On portal using their student ID/first name.
