Mr. Josh Benson

Josh Benson earned a B.A. in English with an emphasis in film from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an M.A. in English with a film certificate from Northeastern University in Boston. More recently he has pursued an Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. Josh began teaching as an adjunct professor at Northeastern before moving to Colorado to join the Peak to Peak staff. With over a decade of classroom experience, Josh taught AP English Language and Composition in addition to other courses in the English and Social Studies departments. Additionally, he served as the English Department chair and as a grade level leader for multiple years before transitioning fully into a leadership role as the assistant principal. Josh enjoys hiking and camping with his family as well as engaging with all forms of visual, literary, and performing arts.
