Ms. Keri Dunphy

Ms. Dunphy taught in South Carolina (at Spring Valley High School, Midlands Technical College, and the University of South Carolina), in Kentucky (at the University of Kentucky), and in Spain (at the American School of Madrid) before joining the P2P faculty in 2007. She holds bachelors degrees in Biology and Spanish from Washington and Lee University, a masters in Hispanic literature from the University of Kentucky, a masters degree in teaching foreign languages from the University of South Carolina, and a principal licensure/Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.  She is a National Board Certified Teacher of World Languages, and taught secondary Spanish at P2P for 12 years, serving as the curriculum leader for World Languages for most of that time.  Prior to stepping into the role of Director of Professional Development, she spent many years as an Induction staff member, teacher mentor, and consultant for the Center for Professional Development.  Outside of Peak to Peak, she can be found practicing and teaching yoga, training for and running marathons, cooking, gardening, traveling, and reading.
