Advanced Placement Program
Our school participates in the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) Program, a challenging academic program designed to provide motivated high school students with college-level academic courses. These courses provide passionate students an excellent opportunity to build study skills for a successful college experience. Other possible benefits of taking AP courses include college credit, course waivers, and diploma recognition.
To realize the full benefit of these college-level classes, all students taking AP courses are expected to take the May cumulative exam. This is a Peak to Peak requirement.
Any family wishing to establish a payment plan may contact Amy Skinner. The payment plan will need to be in place and agreed to before October 1 to avoid the $50 late fee per exam. Families eligible for free and reduced lunch should contact Ms. Skinner as well.
Amy Skinner can be reached at 303-453-4663 or amy.skinner@bvsd.org
