Exam Day Information

Exams are in three formats this year: Digital, where students complete the entire exam in Bluebook; Hybrid, where students complete multiple-choice questions and view free-response questions in Bluebook then handwrite their free-response answers in paper exam booklets; Paper, where students complete all sections of the exam with pen and pencil

Please report to your testing room no later than 7:55am for morning exams or 11:55am for afternoon exams so that we can start promptly. If a student has an afternoon exam, they will be dismissed early from class so that they can eat lunch before the exam. Students taking afternoon exams with standard time should expect to be dismissed between 4:15 and 4:45pm. Students taking afternoon exams with extended time may be dismissed as late as 5:45pm.

If you would like to waive an accommodation, please email James Fuller (james.fuller@bvsd.org) by 3pm on Friday, May 2nd. Students under the age of 18 must have their adults waive accommodations.

Taking an "unscheduled break" to attend graduation events like Senior Breakfast or Tunnel is considered Exam Misconduct which will result in the cancellation of the score. Any student that "no-shows" will be automatically signed up for Late Testing and charged the $50 late testing fee.
