Ms. Mary Campbell

Born and raised in Colorado, Mary Campbell is an alumna of Douglass Elementary and Platt Junior High. Ms. Campbell received a dual-master’s degree in Couple and Family Counseling and Public School Counseling from the University of Colorado at Denver. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology. Ms. Campbell was a 2011 Boulder Valley Impact on Education winner, was recognized as the 2010 November Colorado School Counselor of the Month, won the 2010 Jared Polis award for outstanding teaching, and is a two-time finalist for Colorado School Counselor of the Year.
 
Ms. Campbell has more than 17 years of experience in counseling and education, including four years of counseling abused and neglected children. She has been at Peak to Peak Charter School since 2005. At Peak to Peak she is the adviser for PAC Crew (Link) program,  Allies club and the 9th grade level team leader. She is the co-chair of the Boulder Valley Safe Schools Coalition and a member of the Second Wind Fund of Boulder County Board of Directors. Ms. Campbell is passionate about creating safer schools for all children. She loves high school students and enjoys laughing with them, empowering them to lead others, and watching them grow! In her free time, she enjoys cake decorating, running, and hanging out with her husband and three children.
