Appropriate Learning Placement Services (ALPS)
ALPS is an acronym for Appropriate Learning Placement Services and the coordinator holds the responsibility of collecting evidence to identify and advocate for our identified Gifted and Talented (GT) students, our twice-exceptional (2e), and high-ability students; communicating the strengths and needs of our identified students to ensure proper class placement; providing resources for teachers, their students, and parents for student success Kindergarten through 12th grade.

ALPS at the Elementary level will support student success with the following:
- Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs),
- Cluster grouping,
- Ability grouping in language arts and math across grade levels,
- Appropriate placement advocacy,
- Acceleration options,
- Affective groups,
- Differentiation in all subject areas, and
- Enrichment opportunities,
- Family communication and events,
- Affective (social/emotional) groups
ALPS at the Middle School level will support student success with the following:

- Differentiation in all subject areas, and

- Family communication and events.
ALPS at the High School level will support student success with the following:
- ALP blended with ICAP,
- Affective (social/emotional) lunch offerings,
- Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) level courses,
- Peak Scholar Program,
- Individual supports (advocacy, opportunities for mentoring, executive function,
- Appropriate placement advocacy, and
- Clubs and enrichment.
