Gifted & Talented (GT)
Our Gifted & Talented Coordinators hold the responsibility of collecting evidence to identify and advocate for our identified Gifted and Talented (GT) students, our twice-exceptional (2e), and high-ability students; communicating the strengths and needs of our identified students to ensure proper class placement; providing resources for teachers, their students, and parents for student success Kindergarten through 12th grade.
At Peak to Peak, approximately 30% of elementary students and 43% of secondary students are identified as gifted and talented.

What is an ALP?
An Advanced Learning Plan, or ALP, is a legal document outlining programming for identified gifted students and is used to guide educational planning and decision-making.
ALPs detail which services GT-identified students will receive, including:
- Setting affective (social and emotional) and academic goals
- Family partnership opportunities
- GT Programming
- delivery model
- advanced curriculum options
- within class differentiation and/or accommodations
- grouping
- affective programming
- independent study opportunities
- gifted and talented enrichment
Complete the ALPS Partnership Form. This google form should only be completed by Gifted and Talented identified students in the respective grades. If you cannot complete this form, please email the appropriate GT Coordinator.
