Secondary GT Program
GT at the Middle School level will support student success with the following:
- Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs)
- Honors level courses,
- Appropriate placement advocacy,
- Acceleration options,
- Affective groups,
- Differentiation in all subject areas, and
- Enrichment opportunities,
- Family communication and events.
GT at the High School level will support student success with the following:
- ALP blended with ICAP,
- Affective (social/emotional) lunch offerings,
- Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) level courses,
- Peak Scholar Program,
- Individual supports (advocacy, opportunities for mentoring, executive function,
- Appropriate placement advocacy, and
- Clubs and enrichment.
Complete the Middle School ALPS Family Partnership Form. (This google form should be completed only by Gifted and Talented identified students in grades 6-8. If you cannot complete this form, please email Tracy Cloninger, tracy.cloninger@bvsd.org.)
