Gun Violence Prevention
As part of our ongoing commitment to support the well-being of every student and family in our community, we are sharing a set of informational materials made available by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Under Colorado House Bill 25-1250, schools are required to provide families with educational resources about gun violence prevention at the start of each school year and to make them available on our school website.
These materials are designed to offer thoughtful guidance on actions families can take to help keep children safe and to reduce the risk of unintentional injuries, suicides, and firearm theft. They are intended as supportive, practical information for parents and guardians — not to alarm, but to empower you with resources and ideas for keeping your home and children safe. You can read more about this Colorado initiative in the resources linked below. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to partner with you in maintaining a safe environment for all students.
