Secondary Families: August registration information

We are holding a very limited version of registration in order to get curriculum supplies to students for their distance learning.  Below please find updated detailed information regarding secondary registration for students incoming grades 6th through 12th.  PLEASE NOTE THAT MASKS ARE REQUIRED ON CAMPUS:


IMPORTANT:  PLEASE NOTE THAT MASKS ARE REQUIRED ON CAMPUS.  Secondary students should bring their schedule (paper copy or on their phone) to registration in order to get the appropriate texts for their courses.  Schedules will be available in Infinite Campus during the afternoon on August 10th.  


DATES:  To best follow state guidelines regarding social distancing we have scheduled secondary registration over two days:

Tuesday 8/11 students with the last name beginning A-K should come anytime between 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Wednesday 8/12 students with the last name beginning L-Z should come anytime between 9:00 AM-5:00 PM 

We will only allow a certain number of students in at a time. In the past, most students have come when registration first begins so we strongly suggest not trying to come right at 9:00 AM.



It is our intention for every student to have access to a device for learning remotely. If you have not already done so, complete the Chromebook Inventory Needs Survey ASAP so that we can accommodate your students’ needs and so the device will be available for pick up at registration.



The required forms provided below must be complete and returned during your assigned registration day:

Required forms for each High School student:

- Health Room Forms (if needed for medications and immunizations); NOTE we will only accept medication paperwork at registration and actual medications will not be accepted at this time since the students will be in Phase 2 distance learning at home

- Acknowledgment of Handbook Policies

- Science Department lab contract (signed by both student and parent/guardian)


Optional Forms:

- School Publication and Media Opt Out

- Registration for Colorado Charter Advocacy Network 

Lifetouch Photo Order Form  

- Military Opt Out (HS only)

Only one student or parent should be on campus to complete the registration process.  The only exception is if medication (not actual medications) paperwork needs to be dropped off then the parent/guardian may accompany the student to the LMC.



One student or family member will first visit the LMC (Library Media Center) to drop off the required forms and receive course books for the semester.  Chromebooks will also be available for check out if still needed. 

Please drop off any school medication/immunization paperwork upstairs in the LMC.  A parent or legal guardian must be present to drop it off.  The parent/guardian may accompany the student at this stop only for registration.

Next, they will proceed to the northwest gym for pictures and to have their student ID made.  The LMC and northwest gym are the only buildings that will be open during registration.  Lockers will not be distributed or available for the fall semester.  




Required student fees have been added to your student's account and can be paid here by August 19. Please note that fees for field trips and events are not being added at this time.  As we progress through the year, we will continue to re-assess and will communicate and assign fees as needed. 

Instructions for making payments are attached.  If you need additional assistance, please contact Amy Skinner at or 303-453-4663 beginning 8/4.  Amy will also begin reaching out to families who are new to P2P on 8/4 to offer assistance.  We are not accepting payments at registration, please pay online.

High School Parking & Off-Campus Fees:  All student drivers wishing to purchase a parking tag or Off Campus Privileges - (Juniors & Seniors only) should follow this link.  Once you have completed the online process, you may pick up your parking tag from the Principal's hub after school begins.  



You can add money to your student's account or create a new account by following this link.  

  • If you are establishing your student's lunch account with P2P for the first time, please choose Peak to Peak as your student's District - do not choose BVSD. Our Food Services Staff will be adding your student to our system beginning in August. FREE AND REDUCED MEAL APPLICATIONS can be found here.  Please complete and return to P2P as soon as possible.  If you received a communication from BVSD to complete an online application, it does not apply to P2P.  P2P's form is required to qualify at P2P.  If you have questions about our Free & Reduced Meal program, please contact Elizabeth Begley at Forms can also be printed and scanned back to Elizabeth Begley.  Qualifying for our program allows your student access to free or reduced meals in our cafeteria along with waiving required student fees.
