NEW Family Mentor Program
The Friends of Peak to Peak office partners with our Puma families to support our students and teachers while also building strong relationships within our community. Consider us your liaison to help you navigate the many ways your family can be connected with Peak to Peak in a way that is significant and meaningful to you. Our Family Mentor Program is a treasured 20-year tradition we have at Peak to Peak. This annual tradition matches up new families with current families to help provide information about the school, answer any questions, and generally help ensure your family's smooth transition into our community. We have many current families who are excited to meet you! Over the spring/summer, you will be contacted by your mentor family with upcoming events (including a new family meet-and-greet), volunteer opportunities, and much more. If you have any questions before you hear from your mentor, please know we are available to help and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or (303) 453-4614. If you are interested in learning more about Friends of Peak to Peak, we invite you to visit our website where you will find information on our annual events and activities, our annual report, fundraising campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and much more. As a reminder, Friends of Peak to Peak is the 501(c)3 non-profit that serves the Puma community through various fundraising activities, volunteer opportunities and community events to support the many needs of the school.

You will get to meet and work with the kindergarten teachers, see the classrooms, and receive additional support materials. The workshop is for parents only and we are unable to provide childcare. Please plan to attend this important meeting. The date of the parent/guardian kindergarten readiness workshop is Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 6:00-7:00 pm. For over 20 years, the generous contributions of our community members’ time and talents have been an important cornerstone of Peak to Peak's success. We encourage all community members to participate in our many K-12 volunteer opportunities!
Please follow the link to find more information about Volunteering at Peak to Peak.
We also encourage you to join The Peak to Peak Volunteer Facebook Group if you are interested in learning about upcoming opportunities and ways to participate.
Twice a year, Peak to Peak publishes an alumni magazine called Piqued. The Fall 2020 edition has recently been released and a Spring 2021 edition is in development.
We use the Communication Pathways at our school as an effective, respectful, and efficient pathway to a solution when an issue arises. It is a good starting point method to address any issues. You may periodically receive reminders about the Communication Pathways in our weekly digest. Keep in mind that when you are seeking information or answers to questions, we always welcome dialogue with any member of our community. The Communication Pathways are intended as a problem-solving strategy.
Students and parents will have several important accounts to create and make use of while at Peak to Peak. You can find a more detailed description of the different technology tools that require an account or log in here. What follows is a brief description of each tool.
For Student Accounts:
Students have one primary account that they will use to log into school computers, Google accounts, and the Peak to Peak website. When students use the “Single Sign On,” located at the bottom of every page on the Peak to Peak website, they are taken to their BVSD Portal, where a number of other tools are automatically linked. This includes Google Classroom, Infinite Campus, Naviance, etc.
If your student is transferring from another school in the BVSD, their account will be transferred to Peak to Peak.
Students who are new to the school will receive instruction and assistance from teachers and counselors when school begins in the fall. Families will be sent instructions for accessing those accounts in advance, should you choose to do so.
For Parent/Guardian Accounts:
Parents/Guardians will have separate logins and accounts for each of the following online tools:
- Infinite Campus
- The Peak to Peak Website
- RevTrak (for student fees)
- My Payments Plus (for school lunches)
- Naviance (for secondary students)
We recommend that you establish a system for tracking your usernames and passwords for each of these five accounts as they will likely be different for each online tool. Parents/Guardians are not able to use the Single Sign On (SSO) that students use.
You may have already received a notification that your Infinite Campus account has been created. Each parent/guardian will have a separate account that is linked to your student(s). When class schedules are released in August, you will be able to access them through Infinite Campus. (The email sent to new families in March included additional information about establishing this account. You can find that communication and other information on the New Families page of the website.)
Your Peak to Peak website account will be created for you during the summer. Instructions for accessing that account can be found on the Parent/Guardian page of the website, but will also be sent to families once the accounts are prepared for the 2020-21 school year. Certain pages of the website, such as the Community Directory and Course/Classroom pages, are only accessible to members of the Peak to Peak community who have a pre-established website account.
You will create your RevTrak and My Payments Plus accounts as a part of the registration process. Instructions will be provided in preparation for registration so that you may also set up your accounts in advance if you choose.
Families with high school students will receive instructions from the College Counseling Center in the fall regarding the establishment and use of Naviance accounts.
Peak to Peak students in 4th through 12th grades complete summer reading assignments. For elementary students, summer reading assignments are posted for rising 4th and 5th graders. At the secondary level (6th through 12th grade), the assignments are based on the courses the students will be taking in the fall. Some courses at the high school level require purchased texts which are also listed. The teachers are currently in the process of updating those documents for the 2021-22 school year. When the assignments are ready, they will be posted to the website and a link will be sent to the community. Please watch for more information in early May.
School supply lists will be posted for each school level (elementary, middle, and high), and are further separated by grade level. Supply lists are also for 5th grade and secondary music. These lists are currently being updated for the 2021-22 school year. When the lists are final, they will be updated on the website and a link will be sent to the community. Please, watch for more information in early May.
Information about school fees and instructions for payment will be sent to all families during the summer months. The fee schedules for the 2021-22 school year are currently being reviewed by the school board and leadership team. Fee schedules will be posted to the website in May. Paying school fees is a part of the fall registration process. While you are on campus for registration, staff members and volunteers will be available to assist you and answer any questions.
Families interested in participating in Peak to Peak’s Food Services program will receive information about creating accounts and/or completing Free/Reduced Lunch program forms during the summer months. Creating an account is a part of the fall registration process. While you are on campus for registration, staff members and volunteers will be available to assist you and answer any questions.
