NEW Annual Meeting and Candidate Forum Virtual Presentation Recordings 5.5.2021
Each year in May, Peak to Peak’s Board of Directors and Leadership Team prepare a presentation for our community to celebrate the important milestones of the school year, share highlights from the instructional programs at all three levels, and provide information about the school’s current and projected financial performance. Required by our bylaws, this Annual Meeting is typically open to all members of our community and the public. Since we were unable to hold the meeting in person this year, the meeting was conducted virtually. Here is a link to a recording of that presentation.
Additionally, the election committee held a virtual panel for all of our candidates for three open board seats on Wednesday, May 5th from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. 2021 Board Candidate Forum is a link to a recording of that panel. Online voting began right afterward and will continue until 11:59 PM on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 so please remember to vote!
Please contact any member of the Leadership Team or the Board of Directors if you have questions about anything contained in the presentation. We thank you for your support of our wonderful school community!

NEW End-of-Year Message from Our Registrar
As we approach the end of the school year I have a couple reminders for our families.
NEW Share End-of-Year Photos with the Community
The end of the school year is filled with important milestones and celebrations. The final days and weeks include field day, college decisions, final projects, prom, continuation ceremonies, parades, and more. We can't always be there to celebrate with you, but we'd love to share your captured moments. Please send in your photos so that we might share them with our full community!
NEW Seed Library Needs Photos
Hello gardening friends! The Seed Library team needs your pictures! If you have taken seeds from the library, planted them, or have created a garden at home with your own seeds or starters, please send pics our way for the website! Please send pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
NEW Pumas for the Planet Award- Q4
The Pumas for the Planet Award provides recognition to students in our community, K-12, who strive to make a difference for the environment and the natural world. Reasons to nominate a student are many: celebrating a connection to the natural world, service work for the environment, raising awareness at school about recycling and compost, volunteering at an animal shelter or other organization, and many more! Once the submissions are received, members of the Peak to Peak Wellness Council will review and present the award to the winning student once per quarter. Each winner will be highlighted in the Peak to Peak newsletter and on the school website and Facebook pages. Additionally, each winner will receive a special eco-friendly prize and a certificate. Submissions can be made by parents, teachers, mentors, or friends.
To submit a nomination for the quarter 4 recipient, please email Mrs. Monika Bunting (email@example.com) with the following information.
1- Full name of nominee and grade
2- Photo of nominee, preferably participating in a photo highlighting why they are being nominated
3- An explanation of why you are nominating this individual
Please Return Any School Devices You Are Not Using
If you have a school-owned Chromebook at home that you are NOT using, please return it (and the charger) to the Main Office or High School Hub. You do not need to return a device that your student is still using. If the device is not working, needs a repair, or is missing the charger, please leave a note on the device so we can send it to IT or get a replacement.
The Puma Spotlight
The Puma Spotlight is a place where we capture and celebrate the success of our students and staff members. Each spring, we are delighted to see an increase in the awards, scholarships, championships, and significant accomplishments of our Pumas. Be sure to visit the Puma Spotlight page on our website to see the good news that has been rolling in this month. At the top of the page, you will find a link to submit your students' achievements to be shared with our community.

Sign Up Now for August Assessment Day/Registration
Each year in August, a few days before school begins, students meet with teachers for initial greetings, visiting classrooms, bringing school supplies, and starting assessments. This allows students and teachers to get to know each other in small groups, gain familiarity with new classrooms and grade levels, and greatly reduces first-day jitters and materials.
Please sign up for one time slot during our Assessment Days of August 16-18, 2021. Plan for your student to be at school approximately two hours. These days also serve as Elementary Registration Days, including school pictures and health room items, so plan to take care of those items either at the beginning or ending of the testing time slot.
Sign-ups will be completed on the same system we use for scheduling conferences. This will also email you a link with the ability to change over the summer should your plans change. Please choose a time for the grade level your student will attend NEXT year by visiting this sign-up page!

- We will soon begin planning for our 2022 Peak Gala! Let's pick up where we left off with another festive event celebrating our community. Volunteer Process & Training: We will continue to request fingerprints from anyone who intends to volunteer more than once during the school year. If you had your fingerprints done previously and completed the volunteer form then you do not need to complete any volunteer paperwork this year! Please contact Traci Schoeneweis or 303-453-4682 to verify your volunteer status if you are unsure. If you only intend to volunteer once then you will be required to do the background check (not fingerprints) and the volunteer form each year. Please follow this link to print them: Volunteer Information. Volunteer training is online. Anyone that is new to the school needs to view this before volunteering. If you have previously attended or taken the volunteer training you do not need to do it again. It’s a good idea for returning volunteers to view this as well. Follow this link Volunteer Training to view the information. It can also be found on the volunteer page of the school website.
Your Volunteer Team would love to hear from you. If you have any interest in volunteering for anything at all but do not know where to start please email one of the below people. We would love to meet you.
- Allie Cross & Rachel Hirt, Volunteer Coordinators
- Siobhan Webster, Elementary School Volunteer Coordinator
- Dar Zerwek-Reardon, Middle School Volunteer Coordinator
