Homework Help

The Gaea Shaw Homework Center at Lafayette Public Library is a welcoming place where students can find the homework help they need. Volunteer tutors offer free tutoring in a variety of subjects for students from 3rd grade through high school. Bilingual tutors available.

Session Information

  • Sessions are held during the school year.
  • Monday-Thursday: 2:45-6:30pm in the lower level of the library.
  • Sessions follow the Boulder Valley School District calendar of holidays and closures.
  • Transportation is available for Angevine Middle School students; call their office at 720-561-7100 for details.


Math & Physics

  • Private and semi-private tutoring at no cost.
  • Drop in for help with math, algebra, geometry, calculus, and physics.
  • Monday through Thursday: 5-6:30pm in the group study room of the upper level.
  • Math and Physics sessions offered to high school students only.
