Computer Science Honor Society

The Computer Science Honor Society was formed to concentrate the technological ability of students at Peak to Peak into impactful service projects and utilities for the school and community.

The tenants of the Society are innovation, practicality, and persistence. Innovation is needed to both improve outdated services and create new utilities. Practicality is needed to ensure that projects have a tangible application in the real world. Persistence is needed to ensure completion due to the detailed and tedious nature of coding.

Service projects of the Society include creating lessons regarding technology for younger students, tutoring during tech office hours, designing and optimizing applications/utilities for the school, integrating Virtual Reality into classrooms, using machine learning to create data/survey prediction models, creating technological requests from staff, etc.

These projects are student created and led.
