Eye to Eye

Eye to Eye is the only national after-school mentoring program that pairs kids with learning disabilities (LD) and ADHD with high school students who have been similarly labeled. Using an arts-based curriculum, Eye to Eye helps these kids to value their own unique minds by building their self-esteem and giving them the skills to become self-advocates.

At Peak to Peak, the Eye to Eye program offers students the unique K-12 opportunity to engage with students at other grade levels in an after school mentoring program. High school mentors are paired with middle and elementary school students in this dynamic and empowering program.

Eye to Eye meets every Tuesday afternoon from 3:15-4:30pm in the High School Art Room.

To inquire about your elementary or middle school student's participation, please contact Cindy Guajardo at cynthia.guajardo@bvsd.org.

The 2019-20 Student Chapter Leaders are Chloe Dubrava and Jack Begley. If you are a high school student interested in becoming a mentor, please reach out to these Chapter Leaders or Ms. Guajardo for more information.

Peak to Peak's Eye to Eye chapter is currently seeking high school mentors with Learning Differeneces (LDs) and/or ADHD/ADD. Mentors are expected to participate in weekly art workshops with their mentees on weeks when school is in session (September-May).
