The Peak to Peak Community Meeting IS NOW on April 23rd!

Dear Peak to Peak Families,

The future is bright at Peak to Peak! With the unveiling of our new strategic plan in January, the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team have collaboratively identified several strategic focus areas for the coming years. Additionally, at this same meeting, the Accountability Committee will be sharing the results of the Annual Survey they have conducted. We are excited to share all of this information with you, our valued community.

To this end, you are cordially invited to attend a community meeting on Monday, April 23rd 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the College Counseling Center. At this meeting we will showcase our new strategic plan and discuss the school’s future directions that are under consideration. We intend to lead a dynamic and interactive session, and would love to have your input as we are charting the school’s path forward over the next five years.

If you would like to review our strategic plan, please see the links below. Thanks very much for all you do to support our wonderful school community. We hope to see you at our Community Meeting on April 23rd!

Warm regards,

Kelly Reeser

On behalf of the Peak to Peak Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team

NEW Principal Message: Vaping

Dear families,

The newest trends in vaping, and the hard-to-detect devices used to ingest vaping substances, are becoming part of our teen community at Peak to Peak. We want you to be in the know about Juuls and vaping tools, and ask you to talk to your teens about the dangers of vaping.

Use and/or possession of any vaping device is illegal on Peak to Peak and other BVSD school grounds. Possession and/or use is also considered as grounds for disciplinary action including suspension, as well as ticketing by the Lafayette Police Department. This applies to any use or possession on campus, including lockers, student vehicles and athletic facilities.

Please take time to learn about vaping and the hazards of Juuls. Check out this recent news article by the Today Show: Juuling is NOT Safe.

Thanks very much for helping to keep our Pumas safe.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Garden Volunteers Needed
We need at least 6 more people to help spread mulch and do some weeding at the Peak to Peak Learning Garden from 9am-12p on April 14. High School students could come and earn volunteer hours. This is also a great opportunity for our families that can’t volunteer during the week since this is a weekend date, and feel free to bring your kids to help. Please come and help to make our school the amazing place that it is. Come prepared to get dirty and bring gloves and water. We also need 1-2 wheelbarrows. Note that rain/snow postpones till April 28.
