NEW HS Production "She Kills Monsters"

Peak to Peak’s High School Production of "She Kills Monsters" opens next Thursday 4/26! The show is open to all ages to attend. The theatre department can’t wait to share this amazing geek-loving odyssey with our community! Support our cast and crew of over 40 students. Student tickets are $5. There are 4 performances Thurs. April 26th, Fri. April 27th and Sat. April 28th at 7PM plus a 2PM show on Sat. as well.

The play is a comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games, "She Kills Monsters" tells the story of high schooler. Agnes Evans as she deals with the death of her younger sister, Tilly. When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly's Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and ’90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

The play is a great complement to the iROAR value of inclusion with themes that touch on anti-bullying, sibling estrangement, sexual identity and self-discovery.

NEW IC Annual Data Update

This week you should have received an email from our district office with instructions for the annual data update, ADU, process. This is for Peak to Peak families as well. This is the opportunity to update phone numbers, contact information, emergency contacts, email addresses, mailing addresses etc. (NOTE: if you update your mailing address you will need to upload a new proof of residency, which is a current utility invoice. If a utility invoice is not uploaded Infinite Campus will not be updated.)

We ask that all families log in and go through the ADU process even if you feel you have nothing to update. The system keeps track of families that update and you will remain on the incomplete list until you run through it. Just simply log in and touch on each tab to do a quick double check and then save/submit if all is good.
SECONDARY HOUSEHOLDS: Please note: You will need to email me directly to request any updates as the ADU system will only work for 1 household per family.
Thank you for helping us keep current on all contact information for our students.
Vicki Lundquist, Registrar
Below information is the previously sent district instructions in case you missed them:

To BVSD Parents and Guardians in Primary Households:

Before the current school year ends in May, please take a moment to log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to complete your Annual Data Update (ADU) for next year. The online ADU allows you to review the data we currently have for your child and household. You should review and update health conditions and medications, update your emergency contacts, and request other changes if needed. This process also allows you to electronically complete and submit the Parent/Student Sign-Off Sheet from the Student Rights and Responsibilities Guide. Your child’s school may have other site-specific forms that you will be asked to complete later.

Note that the Annual Data Update system is only accessible to parents in a student’s primary household. If your child has a secondary household, please update the information for that additional household as well while you are completing the Annual Data Update for your student(s).

If you have already set up your Parent Portal in Infinite Campus, you can go complete your family’s Annual Data Update in the system now:

  • Log into your Infinite Campus Portal with the account you previously created.
  • Select the link on the left-hand column titled “Annual Data Update (ADU).”
  • A new window will open and you will be directed through the process. Some requested changes to information may require documentation. Please refer to the help boxes as you proceed. Make sure to complete all fields marked with a red asterisk (i.e. required information).

If you have NOT yet set up your Parent Portal in Infinite Campus, you should have received an email recently with a Campus Portal Activation Key and instructions. The subject line of the email would have been “Message from BVSD - your access to Infinite Campus Parent Portal” and the sender email address was ic.messenger@bvsd.org. Please refer to that email to set up your Parent Portal, then return to these directions on how to complete your family’s Annual Data Update.

If you do not have a portal yet and you did not receive the email with activation key, please contact your child’s school for assistance.

Note that the Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL) application will be available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal in August. Watch for more information about that this summer.

More detailed Annual Data Update directions are available on the BVSD website at bvsd.org/ADU.

If you have questions, please contact the BVSD Student Enrollment Help Desk at 720-561-5247 or by email to enrollment.helpdesk@bvsd.org.

The Peak to Peak Community Meeting IS NOW on April 23rd!

Dear Peak to Peak Families,

The future is bright at Peak to Peak! With the unveiling of our new strategic plan in January, the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team have collaboratively identified several strategic focus areas for the coming years. Additionally, at this same meeting, the Accountability Committee will be sharing the results of the Annual Survey they have conducted. We are excited to share all of this information with you, our valued community.

To this end, you are cordially invited to attend a community meeting on Monday, April 23rd 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the College Counseling Center. At this meeting we will showcase our new strategic plan and discuss the school’s future directions that are under consideration. We intend to lead a dynamic and interactive session, and would love to have your input as we are charting the school’s path forward over the next five years.

If you would like to review our strategic plan, please see the links below. Thanks very much for all you do to support our wonderful school community. We hope to see you at our Community Meeting on April 23rd!

One of Peak to Peak's longest standing tradition is coming up in a few weeks - our 18th annual Run for the Peak! Look for detailed information coming home about this year's event including emails from teachers, Friday folder flyer, and information from your students. As all you veteran parents know, this is a K-12 Peak to Peak tradition that our students look forward to. Each year we designate a % of funds raised to support a project on campus. This year we plan to purchase more recess and wellness equipment to have available for all students. It's sure to be a wonderful day and celebration of our students, teachers and school!
** This is our last fundraiser of the year so thank you for considering a donation to support Peak to Peak ** To make a donation, please visit this site (it's a new website, check it out!) and scroll down until you find the grade level you would like to support K-12. You will notice the opportunity to set up an individual fundraising page on with a personalized link (see this for an example) if your student would like to share with family and friends! It's very easy to set up and friends and family will enjoy the opportunity to support our school.
PRIZE INCENTIVE: Students who set up fundraising page and receive $25 in donations by May 2 receives a Run for the Peak t-shirt!
All parents and guardians are welcome to run, walk or cheer on May 4th! For information on volunteering with water stations and helping with race bibs please email p2p.friends@bvsd.org.
